Over 40 years after the release of his wildly influential self-titled album on Leon Russell’s seminal Shelter Records, Willis Alan Ramsey returns to touring in advance of his long-anticipated follow-up, Gentilly. Ramsey’s debut in 1972 earned scores of accolades from many artists who mined the album for their own recordings, from Jimmy Buffett’s “Ballad of Spider John”, America’s “Muskrat Love (Candlelight)”, Shawn Colvin’s “Satin Sheets”, and many more.

His new songs have also received critical acclaim, including Lyle Lovett’s “North Dakota” and Eric Clapton’s recent “Positively”. Ramsey’s infrequent personal appearances always garner excitement among some of the top critics in the country as well as from fellow artists….
