Come join the serial revolution!
Every second Sunday from September to May Heller Theatre Company presents, SECOND SUNDAY SERIALS!
5 serialized scripts are performed each month, 3 of which are the audience picks from the previous month and 2 new ones.
Playwrights cast their shows, actors perform with scripts in hand and the audience then selects the top 3 to advance to the next month. Do YOU have what it takes to stay in the game until May or at least until your play is finished?
Did we mention that Serials have cereal? We do… and drinks… and tons of fun!
REQUIREMENTS:
Scripts must be 8-10 pages (think no longer than 10 minutes)
There should be MINIMAL stage directions – please do NOT use a narrator! Characters should be well-thought out and fully formed, the dialogue should flow and engage the audience, and the story should be compelling. (not sure if you have this?
